REGENERATE! CAMPAIGN (PROTEC 2.0)
REGENERATE! (PROTEC 2.0): 2025-2030 by the ECCJ-MSB for all Catholic Dioceses in Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei.
Each PROTEC year starts on 1 September and runs to 31 August of the following year.
Riding on the success and popularity of the first Protect Our Earth, Protect Our Children (PROTEC 1.0) Campaign (2020-2025), PROTEC 2.0 is our new campaign called REGENERATE! REGENERATE! has been approved by the Catholic Bishops Conference of Malaysia, Singapore & Brunei to run in the three countries.
REGENERATE! will last for five years from 1 September 2025 to 31 August 2030 with a different theme each year. Year 1 began on 1 September 2025 and will run up to 31 August 2026 with the theme: “Regenerate Hope for Flora and Fauna”. Plant and animal biodiversity are life to this planet.
REGENERATE! Year 1 was launched on 31 August 2025 in Keningau with a Holy Mass celebrated by Bishop Cornelius Piong (Bishop of Keningau Diocese) and Bishop Joseph Hii (President of the ECCJ-MSB).
The Episcopal Commission for Creation Justice of Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei earnestly calls on all the faithful in all dioceses to fully celebrate the REGENERATE! (PROTEC 2.0) Campaign Year 1 throughout the year.
